Giving up the Puting!

Dear Lovely,

We're weaning you off the pacifier today.....so you're suffering from what I'd like to call as "Puting Withdrawal Syndrome"....which is....you mope around the house pretending you are having a leg ache, hoping to gain some sympathy from me.

Bagyashri's Colourful vocabulary

Dear Lovely,

You're 11kg now, and already 90cm. you're very tall for your age, littl one.

You're speaking very fluently now ( and almost non stop) and it's very cute to hear you make sentences with your baby voice.

You're sayign things like " choo in toilet bowl" , "Kaka in bathroom", " no way", "Put it here"," no way",          " Annai, bathe", " Annina, Amma calling you" , "little bit", " Bagyashri cayang you", "I love you".....

wow, little girl, you're saying a lot more things that your brothers did at your age.

Well, they say the smaller ones always learn faster, because they have chief misfits to follow from!

And they also learn to sing more quickly. This page is too short to list the songs you sing.=)

Going to the "bathroom"

Dear Lovely,

You've been successfully toilet trained!

We tried for two whole days but you refused to do your little jobs when we asked you to, but today, you just asked to go to the "bathroom". And THAt was the end of the diapers!

My little Princess is all grown up now.

Mami Bagyashri

Darling Bagyashri,

You've grown very fast indeed. 's very funny to see how you scold your brothers when they fight, or how to try to pacify the brother who is angry.

You've learn to say many things, " Mam mam, Apapa (which means Banana), Mmm ( which means School), illai, venna.....Annai, chinnanai, patti......Ammama

And you're dancing to the serial tunes just like your brothers did.I love how you talk to your Ammama on the phone.=)

And best of all, I just feel a glow inside when I ask you, "Bagyashri yaar sayang" and you smile and tell me "Amma".

Bagyashri Stands Up

Finally, Bagyashri, you're standing up.

You're doing this little thing a little slower than your brothes, but little girl, you're so much faster in other things. You understand instructions very very well.

A baby called Bagyashri

Darling Bagyashri,

Sakkti  Velan’s first blog entry was by himself, and Eshvarhen’s was by your Appa, so I thought it’ll be best for me to enter your first blog.

You’ve completed us, baby, and your Appa and I cannot describe the joy in having you in our circle. Your two brothers are a great joy to us, and now you’ve added to the bliss.

You were born on the 1^st of July in 2011. You are the only baby to go the full term, but your Ammama always says girls are patient and they take their time to come out.

Anyways, after a little depression (and few shocks to your Appa)  during labour in which your heatbeat went down ( because my bladder was disturbing your way out of my womb), you were born tiny and wet at 2.04pm.  You squealed the moment the doctor put you on my lap. You’re lucky, because among the three, you had your Appa by your side when you were born, and your Appa cut your umbilical cord (which fell off today).

You were 2.83kg and 48.5 cm at birth, the smallest among the three but a little longer than your Annai who was 48cm.

So I guess I don’t have to describe further that you have two doting brothers who smother you with kisses each time I change you or put you on the couch for a little stretch. Everyone says you look like your Annai, but to me it seems that you have a combination of both your Cinnanai and Annai’s looks. But nobody needs to confirm that you have your Appa’s big nose.
